Of course, a closer look reveals that the image is complete satire, with the emblem of communism being pieced together by the characteristic sickle and a Native American-style tomahawk replacing the usual hammer. Obviously, this is a play on the far-left philosophies of both senators, which also takes a jab at Elizabeth Warren’s constant claim to indigenous ancestry.
Warren has made regular attempts at virtue-signaling her theoretical Native American heritage, which appears to extend only as far as a recipe she submitted for an indigenous-themed publication in the 1990s. Ignoring the fact that the recipe itself might be considered outright racist with a title like “pow-wow chow,” there doesn’t appear to be any further evidence that she has any such lineage at all.
As for Bernie Sanders, the only difference between himself and his Massachusetts counterpart is the fact that he fully embraces the socialist label. In truth, there doesn’t seem to be any ideological differences between the two.
If this scenario were to actually play out, it could potentially earn President Trump an easy second term. The pairing of two far-left candidates would isolate moderates, making the Republican ticket far more attractive. For everyone who has been enjoying unprecedented economic progress and the restoration of America’s status as a respected global power, let’s hope this happens.
