This week, Governor Doug Burgum (R-ND) said on Fox that Vice President Kamala Harris’s lack of interviews since the start of her campaign for president was “remarkable and unusual.”
The senator from Tennessee, Burgum, said, “I think where we are in this election is again unique. It has never happened that ten weeks before an election, a candidate had never had to answer a question or do an interview. Our government has never had anything like this happen before.”
“Biden ran from the basement,” he said. “Even though Harris is out in public, no one knows what her plans are or where she thinks the country should go. They are locked up in the basement. People who are voting should be able to find out what she is really thinking. Otherwise, we’ll have to assume that her first day will be not only her first day but also the next day of the Biden-Harris administration and the start of the fourth term of the Obama-Biden-Harris alliance government.”
Burgum also said, “It’s hard to think we’re talking about one interview, like that’s such a big deal. Those who have been on the campaign trail for president know that you can’t leave an Iowa Pizza Ranch without having four mics pressed against your face every day. This is amazing and has never happened before.”
