Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ recent comments regarding the surge of migrants at the southern border have infuriated conservatives. Mayorkas attempted to explain away the record numbers of migrants entering the United States illegally by blaming climate change, poverty, and authoritarianism, conveniently ignoring the real issues at hand.
Mayorkas acknowledged that December saw the highest number of migrants processed by Border Patrol in the agency’s history, but his response was nothing short of a liberal deflection. Rather than taking responsibility for the border crisis and outlining a concrete plan to secure it, Mayorkas resorted to global handwaving.
Conservatives see through this tactic. While it’s true that there are displaced individuals worldwide, Mayorkas’ response is an insult to the intelligence of the American people. It minimizes the immediate and urgent problem at the southern border by painting it as just another part of a larger global crisis.
The truth is that the Biden administration’s lax immigration policies and its failure to address border security concerns head-on have contributed to the surge in illegal border crossings. This isn’t about climate change; it’s about a lack of commitment to enforcing immigration laws and securing our borders.
Conservatives are fed up with the administration’s weak stance on border security. They demand that the government take decisive action to protect the border, uphold immigration laws, and prevent further illegal crossings. It’s a matter of national security, public safety, and the rule of law.
While addressing the root causes of global displacement is a noble goal, it should never come at the expense of our own national security and the well-being of American citizens. Mayorkas and the Biden administration need to get their priorities straight and put America first.

The Biden Administration has one goal and one goal only regarding immigration. And it centers around control of the electorate in America. He contributes to this objective with give-a-way programs for illegals and college students along with the radical left. This will create wealth among his higher up friends, thus control.
Absolutely correct. When the demoncrats changed the rules on the way the US census was counted by counting illegals it will shift the number of US representatives in the house thus insuring and democrat majority in the house forever. This is election engineering/ interference which is a backdoor way of denying our Constitutional right to vote. Everyone who changed this rule should be charged with sedition. Our weak/non response to our military being attacked has emboldened all of the bad actors of the world to do what they want.
