Elon Musk explained why he supported former President Donald Trump in the 2024 race to the 45th president in an X Space on Monday, telling him, “We’re at a fork in the road of civilization’s destiny… and you’re the correct route.”
On Monday, Musk addressed the former president Trump, saying, “I think we need to pick the right way, and I think you’re the right path. We’re at a fork in the road of civilization’s destiny.”
Musk said that although he believes the Democrats have gone too far, he has always been a “moderate Democrat,” or “slightly left.” Subsequently, he exhorted other centrist voters to support Trump, telling the 45th president, “You are the route to prosperity,” while contrasting her with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Musk remarked, “I simply wanted to let everyone know that I haven’t been extremely political in the past.” “They attempt to depict me as a far-right man, which is ridiculous because I like creating environmentally friendly products like solar power, batteries, and electric cars.”
Musk went on, “I backed Obama and waited in line for him to shake my hand for six hours during his presidential campaign.” Therefore, it’s not as though I’m a die-hard, establishment Republican. Actually, I consider myself to have been a moderate Democrat in the past.
“However, I believe that this is a very pivotal moment for the nation,” Musk continued.
“I believe a lot of people assumed the [Joe] Biden administration would be a moderate government, but it’s not,” the CEO of SpaceX continued. It goes without saying that Kamala will lead an administration that is much further to the left.
Her father is, in fact, a Marxist economist. You can look it up on Google. That is not fictitious. Musk claims that she was raised in this manner. “I believe we’re just at this crucial point, and we want to have a great future.”
Musk said to Trump, “I believe Kamala is the antithesis of the route to prosperity—you are it.”
Musk remarked, “I’m simply trying to tell folks my honest perspective.” “I’m simply trying to highlight that my track record has traditionally been moderate, if not slightly left.” I haven’t really been involved in politics before.
Musk continued, saying, “So this is to individuals out there who are in the moderate camp: I think you should support Donald Trump for president.” Musk then exhorted fellow moderates to vote for Trump in November.
