Flood Of Fake Social Security Numbers

A Maine police department’s officials issued a warning, citing an “uptick” in the use of fictitious social security numbers to obtain driver’s licenses.

Darcy Valido, communications assistant director of operations for the Sanford Regional Communications Center within the Sanford Police Department, issued a warning via email to officials about a rise in driver’s licenses issued by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) that have the social security number “999-99-9999” on them, according to Maine Wire.

“We’ve noticed a rise in DMV using 999-99-9999 for social security numbers,” Valido emailed multiple police stations in southern Maine’s York County on May 23.

In her email, Valido also mentioned that entering these numbers into “in-house records” leads to a “records issue.”

As stated on the Maine BMV website, “You must show proof of your legal and lawful residency in Maine by using two forms of identification, one of which must bear your written signature and show your date of birth.” This is required in order to receive a driver’s license in Maine.

The website also states, “You must provide your social security to us if it is not on file.”

According to The Maine Wire, there may be an “uptick” in the use of fictitious social security numbers to obtain driver’s licenses due to a rise in nonimmigrant visa holders who have done so by presenting I-94 paperwork.

A number of people criticized Maine officials on X for granting permits to undocumented immigrants who provided false social security numbers.

“How corrupt” do officials have to be, according to the Immigration Accountability Project (IAP), “to issue a driver’s license to someone who writes 999-99-9999” as their social security number?

“Come on, man,” said @JoeBiden, according to the IAP.

Shenna Bellows, the Democratic secretary of state for Maine, is in charge of the BMV, as another individual noted. She also mentioned that in Maine, “forgery is defined as falsely making, completing, or altering a written instrument with the intent to defraud or deceive another person.”

Republican candidate for governor Robert Wessels tweeted on X that Maine voters “deserve an answer.”

“What’s the reason behind this rise?” Wessels continued. “An official investigation is required.”

There has been an increase in illegal immigration in several states, including Maine.

As of January 2024, state officials announced 60 new flats for illegal aliens and their families in five buildings. According to reports, Maine allocated about $3.5 million for the project.

According to a Migration Policy Institute analysis, there were approximately 56,419 foreign-born migrants in Maine as of 2022, which is an increase of over 53.8 percent from 2000 to 2022.

  1. Social security has become a fraud within it self. They hand out numbers like water to people who don’t deserve it. Drug addict, illegals and terrorists. But the American people get a cut in their checks and more money taken out because the government is corrupt. Government needs to keep their dirty hands off and out of social security. Nancy Pelosi went in there right before she stepped down from Speaker of The House. Government sends billions to loser countries and give the American people nothing. Biden and his administration need prison and lockup for life. Nazis everyone of them.

  2. Social Security has been a fraud in itself for decades.Illegals thru the generations has stolen and or just picked ficticious numbers and they have accepted it.When a former “President” can present a stolen ss# then we know the whole government is a fraud.
