In a commendable move, Ohio lawmakers have stood up for the protection of children and the integrity of women’s sports by overriding Governor Mike DeWine’s veto of vital legislation. The Republican-majority Ohio House and Senate have passed HB 68, a law that includes both the Saving Teensfrom Experimentation Act and the Saving Women’s Sports Act, defying DeWine’s reluctance to fully embrace these necessary measures.
The SAFE Act, in particular, goes beyond DeWine’s executive order by comprehensively banning harmful sex-change surgeries, cross-sex hormones, and puberty blockers for minors. This decisive action is a significant step in safeguarding children from irreversible and life-altering medical procedures, which they are too young to consent to. It’s a victory for common sense and parental rights, ensuring that children are not subjected to radical gender ideologies and experimental treatments that have long-term health consequences.
Similarly, the Save Women’s Sports Act addresses the pressing issue of fairness in women’s sports. By ensuring that athletic teams are sex-segregated, it protects the integrity of women’s sports and the opportunities for female athletes. This law acknowledges biological realities and upholds the principle of fair competition, something that has been under threat in recent times due to misguided policies that allow biological males to compete in women’s categories.
The actions of Ohio lawmakers reflect the will of the majority, as indicated by various polls showing substantial public support for such measures. It’s reassuring to see that, despite pressure from LGBT activists and certain political figures, legislators are prioritizing the welfare of children and the rights of women.
Governor DeWine’s initial veto and subsequent executive order fell short of what was needed. The legislature’s decision to override his veto and pass a more robust law demonstrates their commitment to addressing these critical issues head-on. Ohio now joins the ranks of over 20 states that have enacted similar protections, signaling a growing recognition of the need to safeguard children from harmful medical interventions and preserve fair competition in women’s sports.
This development in Ohio is not just a political victory; it’s a triumph for common sense, scientific integrity, and moral clarity. It sends a strong message that the health and well-being of children and the rights of women are non-negotiable.
Thank the Good Lord! I have been praying for victories, and that the good will overcome the evil. Please join me in prayers for our country and world. We need more Christians, and we need to stand up against the evil people in this troubled world. And in our own country!
Yes its fantastic news!!!
Take a weapon like apistol and a rifle and blow te crimminl bastard away.
When I was in high school, if a boy came to school in a dress & it wasn’t Halloween, he would have had his ass kicked. We should go back to that because I & many Americans do not validate their mental illness. I’m not a compliant sheep, you can’t change my mind. Make mental hospitals great again!
THE EVIL SCUMBAG TRAITOR DEMOCRAPS AND RINOS ARE TURNING OUR YOUTH INTO A BUNCH OF WOKEASS WIMPS. I HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL. FJB. IF WE DONT GET THESE SICK SCUMBAGS OUT OF OFFICE OUR COUNTRY IS DONE
I can’t believe our tax money is being paid to politicians to amend laws for such stupidity. Men competing in women’s sports should NEVER have been allowed. If you were born with a d!ck, you are a MALE – you can wear lipstick and all the dresses you want, you are still a MALE! If you need more convincing, a good kick between the legs should solve your gender issue.
We need to go back to secure elections. Only mail in ballots and disabled or seniors that can’t get out. Votes counted the same night. Not 2 weeks from elections. If you are voting early there should be no 2 weeks later. The republicans need to secure elections. No sending people home because of a fake water problem. if you do need to close down then no one is allowed to stay in the building. (GA) Secure it with guards. No bringing boxes and boxes at 4 in the morning.(Detroit). If your voting machine is broken down and can’t count ballots you shouldn’t be able to throw them in an unsecured cardboard box in the corner. (AZ). SOS should not be able to run their own election. (AZ) Stand up for what we believe in. If we have to protest for religion, secure elections and saving young children from hormones and sex changes. If trans want to do sports then have trans gender sports for LGBTQ only.
